Sweet and Crispy Brussels with Toasted Walnuts

These sweet and crispy brussel sprouts are my go to! They are mixed with sweet red onion, roasted walnuts and obtain a crunchy texture. They absorb a sweet dressing that is incredibly tasty!

Serves: 3-4

Prep Time: 5min

Cook Time: 35-40min bake

Mise En Place:

  • 3-4 Cups of halved brussel sprouts

  • 1 red onion

  • 1/2 cup of toasted walnuts

  • salt/pepper

​

Sauce:

  • 1/4 cup of honey

  • 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar

  • 2 tbsp wine vinegar

​

How To Make: 

  1. Preheat oven to 400*

  2. Place chopped brussels and red onion on baking sheet. Coat with oil, salt, pepper.

  3. Bake for 30-40 minutes (stir occasionally) on bottom rack of oven to maximize crisp. They are ready when they begin to turn black.

  4. Add toasted walnuts and mix. Add sauce on top in sizzling pan. They should taste very sweet! If they don't, add more honey and salt.

  5. Enjoy!
